Arena Animation hosts students’ competition in Chennai
Continuing the long series of events across India, Arena Animation hosted yet another creative competition in Chennai. ‘Creative Minds’, Arena’s flagship inter-centre competition for students of animation & multimedia, was held at the Russian Federation Auditorium in the city.

For over a month prior to the grand finale, students from Arena centres across Chennai and nearby areas had been hard at work on various projects.
Their work was judged by a panel comprising industry names such as Yunus Bukhari, VFX Producer, Artery Animation & FX and Namita from Rhythm & Hues Studio. Puneet Sharma from Arena was one of the other judges for the event.
Shortlisted works by all students were also showcased during the event. The best takeaway for the students was that they got an insight into how the industry works & learnt how to work as part of a team within strict deadlines. The icing on the cake was the opportunity to showcase their work to industry experts.
