Arena’s ‘Creative Minds’ a Big Hit with West Zone students
Mumbai: On Saturday, 11th July, Arena students from all over Mumbai, Pune & Baroda showcased their best work at ‘Creative Minds’, the inter-centre students’ competition organized by Arena Animation.
23 centres & 210 students from across the West Zone participated in the mega event which was held at the BN Vaidya Auditorium in Dadar, Mumbai.
Keeping alive Arena’s focus on industry interaction, Creative Minds was graced by Yunus Bukhari, VFX Producer, Artery Animation & FX and Kirtish Tharthare, Senior Lighting Artist, Rhythm & Hues.
Senior officers from Arena including D Venkat, Global Academics Head, Arena Animation, too were present.
Students from the Arena centres had sent in their best work to participate in this exciting contest. Each team got 30 days to create something new for the event.
Judges from the animation industry viewed the entries & selected 3 winners each in two categories. The list of winners is as under:

All students who participated expressed their appreciation for the event where they got a chance to interact with industry professionals & get direct feedback for their projects. ‘Creative Minds’ helped them understand what’s required in the industry in terms of creative design.
The next Creative Minds event will be held for the Bangalore, Hyderabad & Chennai regions.
