Orbit Live provides all participating students with various learning opportunities. Students attend workshops, seminars & master classes conducted by industry experts from national & international studios. These sessions range from the basics to the advanced and help students polish their skills, clear their doubts & receive one-to-one guidance from some of the best names in the industry.

Orbit Live, the international animation festival encourages networking between top creative experts & talented students of Arena Animation. Interactive sessions, creative workshops, breakfast shorts, carnivals, dinner soirees & fun parties facilitated learning, knowledge sharing & social interactions.

Craig Miller (writer, producer & publicist, Wolfmill Entertainment, USA), Nik Powell (director, National Film & Television School, UK), Elizabeth Rega (associate vice provost for academic development, Western University of Health Sciences, USA), Patryk Kizny (film director & head of Kizny Visuals, Poland), Penny Holton (deputy section head of animation & VFX, University of Teesside, UK), Juan Solis (character development artist & consultant, Solisworks, Spain), Xes Vilà (technical director & co-founder, FX Animation, Spain), Luca Raffaelli (festival director, La Città Incantata, Italy), Damián Perea (film producer & director of ANIMAYO International Film Festival, Spain), Dr. Paul Robert Noble (senior lecturer, University of Teesside, UK), Pete Draper (co-founder & CEO, Makuta, India), Eric Egerup (studio art director, Dhruva Interactive, India), Ian Murphy (senior film compositor & training lead, MPC, UK)...phew! Breakfast Shorts:

Arena students started their day fun-filled dance-fitness Zumba sessions. These high-energy sessions were followed by the breakfast shots. Students get to enjoy some of the best animated short films from around the world, some even made by their peers at the National Film & Television School, UK. These films have been screened at prestigious film festivals including Animayo International Film Festival (Spain), and La città incantata (Italy). Students also discuss the making of the shorts with the international experts.

Star Lounge:

It doesn't get more exclusive than this! Creative Minds winners and selected students of Orbit Live workshops get a chance to showcase their work to international experts. During the one-on-one portfolio evaluation session, students get feedbacks to improve their work.

Be the star! Each year, Orbit Live honours the greatest talents and the best works in the animation industry at the exclusive Awards Night. Among the awardees were professionals from the media & entertainment industry, animation & VFX artists & Arena students. The glamorous Awards Night also included incredible live performances.

Orbit Live is not all work and no fun. The day ends with theme parties. The Egyptian Night, which included a colorful masquerade party & energizing drum jam session, was a highlight of Orbit Live 2017. Students also rocked the dance floor & partied hard!
