Biren Ghose (Country Head, Technicolor India) delivered an insightful keynote address at Creative Minds Bengaluru. Mr. Ghose is an acknowledged industry leader evangelizing Indian industry, providing thought leadership in the formulation of government policies and advocating the need for digital arts education to align with emerging technologies and jobs. At Creative Minds Indore, he spoke to Arena Animation students and other esteemed industry professionals about ‘Digital Creativity - The Road Ahead’.
The event also included interactive sessions by experts from the animation, VFX, and film industries. Vaibhav More (Founder-Director, Vaibhav More Films) conducted a session on the topic 'Animation & VFX Making of TV Commercials'. Matthew Packham (HOD Compositing, MPC Films) and Sachin A A (Academy Manager, Technicolor Academy) conducted an informative session on 'VFX Making of Hollywood Blockbuster - The Lion King'. Students were excited to find out how the studio re-created the legendary film using photorealistic animation and visual effects.

Creative Minds event is organised by Arena Animation every year in 10+ locations across India. In 2019, the event commenced at Ahmedabad, on 26th November 2019. This event includes insightful sessions on Animation, VFX, Gaming and Digital Media from Industry experts and an award ceremony where the winners of various competition categories receive their prizes.
Creative Minds is Arena’s flagship student event, a zonal-level student competition organised across the country. 800+ Arena Animation students attended Creative Minds 2019, Mumbai, where they learned from experts from the animation and VFX industry. At the event, students showcased their brilliant works and won awards. The competition categories included 3D architectural visualization, VFX compositing, character animation, cover design, and more.

Creative Minds, Arena’s flagship student completion was held in Kolkata on 17th December 2019. 500+ Arena Animation students attended the event, where they learned from experts from the animation and VFX industry. The students also showcased their works in competition categories including 3D architectural visualization, VFX compositing, character animation, and cover design, and won awards.
Creative Minds is an exclusive event where Arena Animation students compete with peers, test their knowledge in numerous competition categories ranging from VFX compositing to character animation sequence, apply their skills, and gain insights from a jury of industry experts. The event comprise insightful seminars by renowned professionals from top studios in India, and an awards ceremony were the competition winners receive trophies and prizes.
