Arena South Extension centre wins Franchisee of the Year Award
Repeating its feat of 2007, Aptech garnered the maximum awards for franchising at the Indian Franchising Awards 2008 held in New Delhi. Bagging four awards at the event organised by the Franchising Association of India, Aptech has reinforced its standing as a premier franchisor with a franchisee network of over 35 countries.
The ‘Franchisee of the Year Award’ was won by Arena Animation’s South Extension centre (Delhi), for excellence in franchising across various parameters. Arena’s South Extension centre, which was among the first centres of the brand back in 1996, has maintained high standards in animation and multimedia training for over a decade.
Aptech Computer Education, the IT training giant, received the ‘Win-win Franchising Partnership of the Year Award’. This is because Aptech’s franchise model allows both parties to leverage benefits from each other and creates an environment of shared destiny with franchisees.
Aptech Worldwide, the international business wing of Aptech Ltd, won the award for ‘Indian Global Franchisor of the Year’ for excellence in overseas franchising operations. The international operations encompass countries across Latin America, China, Africa, South East Asia, Middle East, APAC and SAARC.
Preeti Malik, Head, Avalon Aviation Academy (Aptech’s aviation training wing), received the ‘Franchising Woman of the Year Award’, a recognition accorded to her for achieving significant success in franchising operations. Avalon started their franchising journey in 2006 and the brand has fast expanded to 50 centres spanning India.
