Arena Animation centre teaches deaf & dumb students
Mumbai: The Arena Animation centre in Vile Parle, Mumbai, has recently been teaching a batch of some very special students. It all started when they received an enquiry from a deaf & dumb student and enrolled him for an animation course. With the cooperation of schools in the area, Arena held an awareness session for parents of such differently-abled students and encouraged them to help their children explore a career in animation. Following this, eight other such students too enrolled to learn animation with Arena. Punit Thakkar, a faculty member at Arena Vile Parle even learnt sign language in order to teach them more effectively.
