Exciting Digital Art Contest conducted at Arena Park Street, Kolkata
Arena Animation has had a long tradition of encouraging students to develop their creativity. Towards this end, various Arena centres conduct contests & events to foster the spirit of healthy competition.
Recently, the Arena centre in Park Street, Kolkata, held an event titled ‘Digital Art Contest - Freedom Movement’ for their students. Held from 10th to 14th August 2009, the contest saw active participation from many students. These participants were required to create graphics based on any theme/ event of their choice, related to the Indian freedom movement.
Of the many entries received, Tusi Biswas’ work (see picture) was adjudged the best.
All students lauded this ‘learning experience’ & stated that they look forward to many more such, from Arena.
