Arena's ‘Feel The Punch’ animated film wins 4 Awards!

 

Film: Feel the Punch

Awards won:

  • Best 3D Animated Short Film Award at 24FPS:
    The film beat 80 other films in the Student Team (Open) Category at the 7th edition of MAAC’s Annual 24 FPS Animation awards.

    24FPS Awards had nominations from young animators and studios in India as also from countries like China, France, Germany and the US. The jury was drawn from studios like DreamWorks, Lucas film, Rhythm & Hues, Prime Focus, Prana, Pixion, Crest Animation, Maya Digital Media, and more.

  • Special Jury Award at the ASIFA Awards of Excellence:
    The film gained recognition at the 10th edition of ASIFA India's International Animation Day celebrations, one of the most popular animation carnivals in India since 2002.

    On the occasion of ‘International Animation Day’, ASIFA Awards of Excellence assembles fresh and unique talent each year from all around the world. It is an annual awards ceremony that recognizes and celebrates the best in Indian animation.

  • Special Jury Award in the Animation Films category at the Short and Documentary Film Festival of Hyderabad:
    The Festival was held from September 24 - 28, 2010

  • The TASI Viewer's Choice Award in the ‘Student Films Category’ at Anifest India, 2010.
    Apart from these Awards, ‘Feel the punch’ is a big hit on the Internet as well. The film is hosted on YouTube where it has registered more than 3,00,000 clicks in a short period of time.
