Arena Darjeeling, World Environment Day: June 5th 2011 Initiative
Students of Arena Darjeeling Centre planted 50 trees in and around the Mahakal Temple in Darjeeling to contribute to the World Environment Day celebrated on the 5th June. The location chosen was the place where a landslide caused by the Cyclone Alia killed 6 people in 2009.
