Creative Minds receives tremendous response from students in Cochin!
Creative Minds, an event hosted by Arena Animation to showcase professional skill-sets of students in the animation industry, was held on 10th March 2011 in the Cochin region. The venue at EMS Memorial Hall Auditorium saw participation by over 300 students.
In addition to garnering huge response from the student community, the event also featured some well-known and reputed names as judges. Yunus Buhkari, VFX Producer, Artery Animation and FX, Puneet Sharma, Technical Advisor, Aptech Ltd, Mumbai, Shyamal, Territory Academic Head (West and South Zone), M.R. Shankar, Regional Academic Head (South) and Zakir Hussain Sothia, Regional Academic Head (West and Hyderabad), graced the occasion.
Prior to the event, as the first step, an operational note was provided to Arena centres in the region where the event was going to be held. Students were given 45 days to prepare their projects and submit their entries. The entries received were then short-listed and these works were presented by the students to the jury members, who chose the winners for the event.
The winning entries received trophies and certificates, even as all participating entries received a Certificate of Participation. Like always, Creative Minds in Cochin too saw an enthusiastic response from all students.
