Arena to host creative competition in New Delhi
New Delhi: On Thursday, 19th November, 2009, Arena Animation will host yet another exciting ‘Creative Minds’ event. To be held at Delhi’s Kamani Auditorium, the contest-cum-knowledge seminar will provide a platform for active participation to Arena students from all over Delhi and the surrounding North Zone region.
About Creative Minds
Creative Minds is Arena’s flagship inter-centre students’ competition.
over a month before the final event is held. Interested students register their names for Creative Minds & then start the process of creating the best animation/ multimedia project that they can.
All the students’ works go through first-cut selection and the best works are short-listed to be displayed at the venue on the day of the event.
The goal is to make the students understand how the industry works as well as to train them to work together in a team, while living up to tight deadlines.

Categories under which students enter their work for Creative Minds:
- Comic strip
- Stop motion animation (a.k.a. frame-by-frame animation)
- 2D Short Film (Animation)
- 3D Short Film (Animation)
- Graphic Design
Judges
All Creative Minds events have a mix of judges who are industry experts and/ or senior people from Arena’s Academics & Content Development teams.
Jury members for Creative Minds Delhi are as follows:

- Prof. RL Mistry, senior animation industry person
- Yunus Bukhari, Chief of Artery Animation & FX

Creative Minds events are scheduled to be held all over India in the near future. Do watch out for the East Zone event in January-February 2010.
