Arena Animation Academy Specialist Programme (AAASP)
Arena’s flagship AAASP course is a 31-month, five-semester, 3D animation career-oriented programme. Classes are typically held 3 times a week for about 90 minutes per session. Only those who have completed Class 12 are eligible to apply.

Each student has to make a portfolio every semester based on what he/ she has learnt that semester. This portfolio is a requirement for successful completion of AAASP and also comes in handy at the time of placements.
The course includes value additions in the form of communication and personality development sessions. Also, AAASP teaches upgraded versions of the relevant software.
The 20-month DAE is an intensive, high-end programme in 2D and 3D animation over 5 semesters. Typically, classes are held 6 days a week for about 4 hours each day.
Unlike AAASP, AMSP and the other programmes from Arena which are typically held on 3 days a week for about 90 minutes per session, DAE is similar to a full-time course. Only students who have an aptitude for creativity/ animation and who wish to become animation professionals are admitted. Minimum eligibility is 12th.
DAE is a pure animation course without any coverage of multimedia or basic graphics concepts. The attempt is to go into various animation topics in depth and also to give more practice/ assignments to students so that they can gain mastery in animation.
In order to ensure that the student emerges as a complete animation professional with knowledge of every minute aspect, DAE has some value additions in each semester. These include modules on photographic techniques, scriptwriting, concepts of animatics and clean-up, and even puppet-making.

Arena’s AMSP is a 32-month career course spread over five semesters. Only those who have completed class 12 are eligible to apply.
AMSP is a versatile course covering the basics of multimedia and animation, as also web designing and gaming. Evolved concepts like art direction, scripting, art of animation as well as a good amount of real project experience are also included. In AMSP, there is a good balance between creative courses and teaching the latest software. This creates a harmony between technology and creativity.

Arena Animation also offers an 18-month full-time, residential Postgraduate Program in Animation. The Program is open to graduates from any stream who have 1-2 years’ work experience in the animation industry or who have completed an animation course (of at least 1 year) from a reputed institute.
Students have the option to complete 9 months abroad at the University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol, UK. The UWE option is a 24-month program leading to MA Media (Animation) from UWE, Bristol, UK.
