Arena Animation centre, located at Malad West is within 10 minutes of walking distance from the Malad railway station. The centre believes ‘All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy’. This is one of the activities of the event Expression, where students create props and showcase their skills. The prop-making workshops help students learn new skills and have fun. Students created a range of props which were used in cosplay.

Arena Animation Malad West centre organises a cosplay event during Expression, where students dress up as their favourite characters from movies, animated movies or TV series. From conceptualisation & prop making to enactment of different characters help students gain new creative skills.

Indoor & LAN Games

There are numerous benefits for participating in a competitive game. Healthy competition motivates students to achieve a goal, it demonstrates determination to overcome challenges, and helps them understand that commitment leads to a greater chance of success. The enthusiasm to win can even inspire imaginative thinking and develop additional skills. As a part of the Expression event, Arena Animation Malad West centre organises a range of competitive games for students. Some of the conventional games include chess, Carrom and Pictionary. The centre also provides a platform to play LAN games like NFS and Counter-Strike. Winners of the games were awarded with certificates and medals.

A Cricket tournament, also a part of the Expression event, was held for students of the Malad and Borivali centers of Arena Animation.

DJ Night

The event - Expression concluded with a DJ Night, where students from Arena Animation Malad and Borivali centres participated in a range of fun-filled activities like dancing, singing, playing instrumental music and fashion show. This power-packed event featured healthy competition and entertainment. The best performers were rewarded with accolades. The occasion concluded with a DJ session of Bollywood blockbusters where students rocked the dance floor.

3D Hand Painting

Expression of 3D art on the palm of a hand is truly incredible. Arena Animation Malad West centre organised this unique activity for students, where they showcased their 3D painting skills.

Diwali Celebration

During Diwali, Arena Animation Malad West centre conducted a workshop to offer hands-on-experience to students, in drawing, diya painting and lantern making with the help of waste materials. This not only boosted creative talents of the students, but also created awareness about global warming.

Student Presentations

Every month, the Malad West centre conducts student presentations, as a part of personality development training. Students speak about themselves, present their works to faculty heads and receive feedbacks for their works. This activity helps them overpower their stage fears and gain confidence to face audience. This is extremely beneficial in the long run, as these confident students will become well prepared for verbal rounds of their job interviews.

Study Tour

Arena Animation Malad West centre conducted a study tour to Ramoji Film City, to explore the live studio. This helped them understand the production processes involved in filmmaking, and the use of animation, VFX and graphics in movies. They gained knowledge about green croma room effect used in video editing. Students visited the sets of Baahubali. This movie is one the best examples for the marvel of VFX and green croma room effect.

Arena Malad West centre offers job placement assistance to students. Constant training and guidance help students prepare for interviews. Students of Arena Animation Malad West has been placed in companies like Studio 24 Digital, Gloob Décor, Sportobuddy, New Arch, Nipra Industries, Sandas, Aspee Group of Companies, Marcon, FAE Entp Ltd., and Media One Solution. The students have been working in various job profiles in animation, graphic design and digital marketing industries.

Mitali MMalondkar student - Arena Animation, Malad

Mitali MMalondkar, who is pursuing Graphic, Web Design and Development course at Arena Animation Malad (W), Mumbai, says:
“I am inspired by the web industry and wants to have a career in this industry. So I have chosen Graphic, Web Design and Development course. I want to work in an MNC after completing my course. The faculty support me during every assignment and help in solving my queries with regards to the graphic concepts. “I have opted for AAIP-VFX course. I basically love to do cartoon animations, photography, sketches, video editing, VFX and compositing.
