| May 2008: Arena Andheri invites animation lovers to participate in Aakruti 2008 in Mumbai |

Arena Andheri (West), Mumbai, is all set to host Aakruti 2008. A 15-day animation festival for students, professionals and other animation enthusiasts, Aakruti features a wide variety of animation contests, exhibitions, and games for students. The event also includes seminars by industry professionals and even a jam session on the last day.
An annual event that’s been organized for seven years now, Aakruti encourages students to showcase their skills through competitions in categories Animation, Web Designing, Print and Video Editing. The contests are judged by senior professionals from the booming animation industry who also take the opportunity to enhance students’ understanding of careers in this field. |
